Extremists are attempting to derail the introduction of a national swine flu vaccination campaign, the country’s top doctor has warned.
A warning that the new swine flu jab is linked to a deadly nerve disease has been sent by the Government to senior neurologists in a confidential letter.
(Reuters) - Shares of VeriChip Corp (CHIP.O) tripled after the company said it had been granted an exclusive license to two patents, which will help it to develop implantable virus detection systems in humans.
The swine flu pandemic could kill millions and cause anarchy in the world’s poorest nations unless £900m can be raised from rich countries to pay for vaccines and antiviral medicines, says a UN report leaked to the Observer.
GENEVA (Reuters) – Production of H1N1 vaccine over the next year will be “substantially less” than the 4.9 billion doses previously forecast but one dose should provide adequate protection, the World Health Organization (WHO) said on Friday.

Last night Zero Hedge obtained some interesting documents from the CDC web site. They contain blank ‘forced quarantine’ orders from Iowa and Florida regarding novel H1N1 — including quarantine to a ‘secure detention center’— which appear to be recent — dated April 2009. Some may be aware the NIH and CDC just held an H1N1 conference in DC — August 19-21 2009 — that focused on ‘mass fatality management’. For many, this should be cause for concern. As is becoming clear, our government is quite corrupt. The idea that this same government is now preparing for forced quarantine and mass vaccination should make anyone who has been following recent events shudder. There is something going on here, but governments have not come clean with the public. Why ‘secure detention centers’ in the U.S. and ‘secure vaccination centers’ in France if there is nothing to be concerned about? It is becoming increasingly clear that a global mass vaccination campaign is planned — likely to become mandatory in the 193 WHO member countries, despite serious safety concerns regarding these untested novel H1N1 vaccines, some of which are now known to contain high levels of the deadly adjuvent squalene.
Swine flu symptoms may generally be mild but in a bid to prevent a pandemic health officials and pharmaceutical companies are planning to administer a new, little-tested vaccine to millions of Germans. Meanwhile, officials in the United States are taking a more cautious approach to fighting the virus.
LONDON, June 1 (Reuters) - AstraZeneca’s (AZN.L) MedImmune biotechnology unit has won an initial $90 million order from the U.S. government to make a live attentuated vaccine against the new H1N1 flu strain, it said on Monday.
There seems to be quite a lot of uncertainty about the technical nature of Swine Flu (H1N1) vaccines.
As a medical doctor, I wish to clarify a number of improtant issues: First, we should talk about vaccines instead of vaccine, since the vaccines vary as for their compositions and even their ways of being dispensed: some by injection, another by the nose.
I think the fears as for the vaccines can be referred to:
1. the adjuvants – in particular squalene which was in all probability responsible for the Gulf War syndrome,
2. the virus antigen´s condition (dead, attenuated, live)
3. a deeply rooted mistrust in our politicians and the vaccine producers´ motives and morals: e.g. Baxter´s live bird flu virus last Winter (12), the Bayer AIDS haemophiliac product scandal (15).
Less than four months after its publication, the Department of Defense (DOD) has agreed to review a controversial study that appears to link Gulf War syndrome (GWS) with a banned substance used in experimental vaccines.
The study, conducted by scientists at Tulane University Medical School, found that an overwhelming majority of sick veterans who had served in the Gulf War, and had received at least one vaccination, tested positive for antibodies to a naturally occurring substance called squalene. None of the healthy veterans in the study tested positive for squalene antibodies.
This is an old article (circa 2000) but the presence of squaline antibodies in soliders suffering from Gulf War Syndrome seems a startling corollary to the potential use of squaline in upcoming swine flu vaccines. Emphasis mine.
IPS Research in Oklahoma City is the first Oklahoma company to conduct the vaccination trials and will begin enrolling study patients Aug. 17, said IPS Research medical director Dr. Louise Thurman.
